Set Privian as your default search
You can make Privian your default search engine to better integrate with your browser. We also recommend installing the browser extension for the best experience.
Option 1 - browser extension
The easiest way to set Privian as your default search engine is to install the browser extension. The extension automatically configures your browser.
Option 2 - configure manually
For Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, MS Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi and others):
- Navigate to chrome://settings/searchEngines
- Lookup “Privian” under “Other search engines”
- Click the “more” button (three dots)
- Select “Make default”
For Firefox:
- Log-in into Privian
- Right-click the browser address bar (search bar)
- Select “Add Privian”
- Navigate to about:preferences#search
- Choose Privian in the “Default Search Engine” select
Others
For other browsers, use the following search string:
https://privian.io/search#?q=%s
